About Structured Document

A bold ConnectWise invoice design that sets your company name in 42-point display type.

Structured Document takes the opposite bet from most invoice templates: instead of being quiet, it's the loudest thing in the inbox. Your company name sits at the top in 42-point uppercase display type, followed by a 4-point black rule that the rest of the page hangs from.

The effect is less "bill" and more "document of record." It's the kind of invoice that doesn't get filed and forgotten — clients read it top to bottom, which is good for you if you want your brand remembered.

Best for

  • MSPs with strong brand identity who want the invoice to carry it
  • Growth-stage shops raising prices and signaling confidence
  • Agencies and consultancies that bill per project
  • Owners who want the invoice to function as a brand touchpoint

Frequently asked questions

Will my company name actually fit at 42 points?

+

The design scales typography down for long company names, so 'Acme Technology Solutions' and 'ATS' both work. When Better Invoice builds this template on the Custom plan, the header text and scaling are fully configurable.

Is this too loud for conservative clients?

+

It can be. If your clients are law firms, financial advisors, or healthcare, try Luxury Navy or Government Form instead. For tech-forward clients, Structured Document reads as confident, not aggressive.

Can I build this for my ConnectWise invoices?

+

Yes. On the Custom plan, Better Invoice's code editor produces a ConnectWise Manage invoice in this look, with your data pulled in through the API. No Report Writer, no manual export.

Can I replace the company name with a logo?

+

Yes. Logo upload is standard, and the Structured Document layout keeps the 4-point rule and meta row in place, so the structural identity holds even when the 42-point headline becomes a logo mark.
