Company Finance Invoices Tab
The Invoices tab on a company’s Finance record lists every invoice associated with that company. Select an invoice number to open it.
Use the filter bar at the top of the list to search by any column. Columns marked as hidden can be made visible through Customize.
Bulk actions
Select one or more invoices, then open the Actions menu to apply changes in bulk:
- Change Billing Status — update the billing status on selected invoices
- Delete Invoice — permanently remove selected invoices
- Get Tax — available only when Avalara is enabled; fetches tax amounts from Avalara
- Mark as Paid / Mark as Not Paid — update payment status without entering the invoice
- Print Invoice — opens the print dialog for selected invoices
- Download Invoice PDF — downloads PDF copies of selected invoices
- Update Billing Information — update billing address details in bulk
- Update Shipping Information — update shipping address details in bulk
- Send Invoices — emails selected invoices to the bill-to contact
- Update Invoice Date — changes the invoice date on selected open invoices; not available for closed invoices
Column reference

| Invoice | Invoice number. Select to open the invoice. |
| Ticket # | Ticket number linked to the invoice. Populated only when the ticket is set to bill separately. |
| Invoice Total | Total amount of the invoice. |
| Date | Invoice date. Defaults to today and is used to calculate the due date. |
| Due Date | Calculated due date based on the invoice date and payment terms. |
| Status | Current billing status of the invoice. |
| Invoice Type | Type of invoice (e.g., Standard, Agreement, Misc). |
| Open/Closed | Whether the invoice is open or closed. |
| Invoice Balance | Remaining unpaid balance. |
| Invoice Reference | Reference field from the invoice. |
| Paid Amount | Amount paid to date. Right-click a value in this column to mark the invoice as Paid In Full, Partial Paid, or Not Paid. This shortcut does not work for Credit Memos. |
| Date Paid | Date the invoice was partially or fully paid. |
| Down Payment Applied | Down payment amount applied to this invoice. |
| Credit Amount | Total credit memo amounts applied to this invoice. |
| Bill To | Company the invoice was billed to. |
| Company Name | Company name as it appears on the invoice. |
| Company ID | ConnectWise ID of the associated company. |
| Site | Site associated with the invoice. |
| Project / Phase | Project or phase linked to the invoice. |
| Sales Order # | Sales order number associated with the invoice. |
| Agreement Type | Agreement linked to the invoice. |
| Customer PO | Customer purchase order number. |
| Invoice Delivery | Delivery method for the invoice. Previously called Billing Delivery. |
| Territory | Territory set on the invoice. |
| Location | Location set on the invoice. |
| Department | Group, department, or business unit associated with the invoice. |
| Routed To | Member the invoice is currently routed to for approval. |
| GL | Y if the invoice has been batched to the accounting interface; N if not. |
| GL Batch | GL batch number, if the invoice has been batched. |
| Internal Notes | Internal notes entered on the invoice (not visible to the customer). |
| Tax Code | Tax code applied to the invoice. |
| Sales Tax | Sales tax amount on the invoice. |
| Service Total | Total for time/service line items. |
| Expense Total | Total for expense line items. |
| Product Total | Total for product line items. |
| Has Time | Indicates whether the invoice includes time entries. |
| Has Expense(s) | Indicates whether the invoice includes expenses. |
| Has Product(s) | Indicates whether the invoice includes products. |
| Billing Type ID | Internal billing type identifier. |
| Account ID | Accounting account ID associated with the invoice. |
