Company Finance RMA Tab
The RMA tab in Company Finance lists every Returned Merchandise Authorization associated with the selected company. The list defaults to open RMAs.
- To open an RMA, select its Tag #.
- To create a new RMA, select the New Item icon in the toolbar.
To change which RMAs are shown, customize the list view using ConnectWise’s column and filter controls.
Column reference
| Column | Description |

| Tag # | The RMA tag number. Select it to open the RMA record. |
| Status | Current RMA status. Possible values: All Open, Credit Received / Closed, Part Received / Return to Client, Part Received / Return to Inventory, Parts Out of Warranty / Closed, Open, Pending Credit from Vendor, Pending RMA from Vendor, RMA Received / Part Shipped, Waiting on defective part from field. |
| Summary | Short description of the RMA. |
| Returned By Company | The company returning the merchandise. This field determines which company’s RMA tab the record appears under. |
| Going To | Destination for the returned merchandise. |
| Warranty Vendor | The vendor handling the warranty claim. |
| Product ID | Identifier for the returned product. |
| Product Description | Description of the returned product. |
| Sales Order # | Populated if the RMA originated from a sales order. |
| Ticket # | Populated if the RMA originated from a ticket. |
| Project Name | Populated if the RMA originated from a project. |
| Invoice | Populated if the RMA originated from an invoice. |
| Vendor Action | The action taken by the vendor. |
| Ship Method | Shipping method for the RMA. |
| Expected Ship Date | Expected date of shipment. |
| Location | Location associated with the RMA. |
| Department | Department associated with the RMA. |
| Date Entered | Date and time the RMA was created. |
| Last Update | Date and time the RMA was last modified. |
| Updated By | Member who last edited the RMA. |
