Agreement Configuration Tab
The Configurations tab on an agreement lists every configuration belonging to that company. Select the checkbox next to a configuration to attach it to the agreement. Select the configuration name to open the full configuration record.
To create a new configuration without leaving the agreement, select New Item.
Automatically apply an agreement and configuration to a service ticket
When a technician creates a ticket from the Configurations screen, ConnectWise automatically attaches both the agreement and the configuration to that ticket — no manual selection required.
To set this up:
- Create the configuration on the Configuration Search screen.
- Go to Finance > Agreements and open the agreement.
- Select the Configurations tab, then select the checkbox next to each configuration to attach.
- Repeat for any other agreement and configuration combinations.
When a customer calls:
- Go to Companies > Configurations and locate the configuration they are calling about.
- Select Create Ticket.
ConnectWise creates the ticket with the agreement and configuration already applied. All time entered on that ticket bills against the agreement.
Note: The agreement appears in the ticket with an asterisk next to it. The asterisk marks the agreement tied to that specific configuration — it displays even if the configuration is not directly attached to the ticket.
