Expense Tab in ConnectWise Invoice Search

What each column on the Invoice Search Expense tab shows — billing status, amounts, tax codes, and compliance for Standard and Progress invoices.

Expense Tab — Invoice Search

The Expense tab lists every expense record attached to an invoice. It only appears on Standard Invoices and Progress Invoices — not on other invoice types.

Column reference

ColumnWhat it shows
MemberThe member who entered the expense. Select the name to open the expense entry detail.
DateThe date the expense was entered.
Expense TypeThe expense type selected on the entry.
BillBilling status: B (Billable), NB (Do Not Bill), or NC (No Charge).
Expense AmountThe quantity of the expense — days, miles, dollars, etc. The unit depends on the Expense Type configuration.
Total AmountThe total dollar amount incurred.
Invoice AmountThe amount that will appear on the invoice.
LocationThe location associated with the expense.
DepartmentThe department associated with the expense.
Ticket #The service ticket linked to the expense.
SR StatusThe status of that service ticket.
Tax CodeThe tax code from the company or site record.
AgreementThe agreement the expense is billed against, if any.
CompliantWhether the expense is within the Expense Max Amount defined on the Expense Type setup table. Non-compliant expenses exceed that cap.
Has Attachment(s)A checkmark if a file is attached to the expense entry.
